When an instructor wants the entire class to see a document, they can place it on electronic reserve. Students can then login with their user ID and password, and a user ID and password provided by the instructor to read articles, book chapters, notes, old quizzes or tests, or study notes, presentations, etc. If your instructor tells you something is on reserve in the vertical file or on closed reserve, that means it is in print and you need to go to the Library to get it (bring your Mountaineer card).
Order materials you want that the WVU Libraries do not own free of charge through the Interlibrary Loan service, ILLiad. If you are a first time user, read the instructions and register for an account.
