Copy and Print Cards/Mountie Bounty
-
Faculty, students, and staff should use their WVU ID card to print or make copies.
-
If your card is damaged or unreadable by the card readers, you should replace it at the Mountaineer Card Services Office.
-
If you do not have a WVU ID card, please inquire at the Access Services desk.
-
Money deposited to your WVU ID card is called Mountie Bounty.
-
Currently, there are two ways to add money to your ID card:
-
Add Value Machines: The add value machines are located in the Downtown Campus, Evansdale, and Health Sciences Libraries. You may only deposit cash using these machines, and they do not give change. These machines will be removed from the Libraries in July 2013.
-
Online Deposit: You may deposit money to your card online via debit or credit card at the Deposit Mountie Bounty Online page.
-
When you choose to print within the library, the normal printer dialog box comes up, then the Pharos dialog box appears asking you to name your print job.
-
Go to the printer kiosk (Pharos) station nearest the computer you are using.
-
Swipe your Mountaineer Card or print card through the card reader with the magnetic stripe facing you on the bottom of the card.
-
Touch the screen to select the name of your print job then touch print.
-
When you are done selecting print jobs to print, you may then logout.
-
Slide your Mountaineer Card or print card through the card reader next to the copier you wish to use.
-
The card reader will display the number of copies available on your card.
-
The card readers time out quickly, so press "*hold" on the card reader or slide your card again.
-
Once you have finished making copies, press "quit" on the card reader to clear your card's account information.
-
The copiers can be used to scan your black and white documents to email.
-
Flatbed scanners, which scan in black and white or color, are available on the lower level of the Downtown Campus Library. These scanners scan up to 12.2" by 17.2".
-
Digital senders, which scan in black and white or color, are available at the Evansdale Library.
