Located central to the downtown campus on University Avenue, The Downtown Campus Library and Wise Library houses the materials related to history, political science, public administration, foreign languages, journalism, psychology, biology, botany, physics, math, chemistry, communication studies, business, economics, literature, geography, sociology, and anthropology. Many of the system's special collections are also located at Wise Library, including the Rare Book Room, the Appalachian Room, and Government Documents.
