Publications which are issued at least twice a year, including journals, magazines, and newspapers are called periodicals. "Current periodicals" are those which have recently arrived. For example, in the Downtown Campus Library, they are on open shelves on the Second Level. Some bound periodicals are back issues that are shelved in the Bound periodical stacks on Level Two. Other bound periodicals are shelved off campus at the Libraries’ Depository. The Evansdale and Health Sciences Library have similar systems. "Bound periodicals" are back issues that are shelved in the General Book Stacks with the regular collection.
