The Appalachian Collection is on the third floor of the Wise Library in the James V. and Ann Pozega Milano Reading Room. 

Art and art history books and print journals are located at Evansdale Library, primarily at the call number N. 

Books on dance are located at Evansdale Library at the call number GV1580.

Books that support all disciplines in engineering and computer science are located in the Evansdale Library on the second floor. The books are located in the QA 76 and T call number areas.

The WVU Libraries' buildings do not have enough space to hold all the books and journals they own. The storage facility is used to keep low-use library materials in a controlled environment.

Music books, journals and scores are located at Evansdale Library with call numbers M-MT.  Compact disks and listening equipment are available at the Service Desk by the entrance.
