Page 283 bound within the signatue and showing illustration before defacement. Picture of Mark Twain’s bust has the feature of the artist’s name on the shoulder, the picture is produced by the Heliotype Printing Company. 2 fly leaves at end, one of whichis inserted. Printed by J.J. Little & Co. Marbled lining-papers different from copy described in Johnson. Original half-morocco binding. Laid in: Original letter by Miss Virginia Warren, secretary to Mr. Hogan of Hogan & Hartson, about the problems concerning the first editions of Huckleberry Finn.
