Book Express
...a Book Delivery Service
for WVU Students, Staff, and Faculty...
The University Libraries provide intra-campus book delivery service Monday through Friday each week. Faculty, staff and students who need a book from a campus library other than the one nearest them can request it electronically through Mountainlynx. The delivery service is called "Book Express".
Using Book Express
If you have found a citation in Mountainlynx for a book at another WVU library:
- Select the REQUEST button in Mountainlynx, an option called "Book Express" will appear
- Choose this option
- Fill out the form
- Choose the library you want the book sent to
- Press Submit Request
- The Library Courier will deliver your book to the library of your choice as soon as possible
- When the book arrives it will be on the hold shelf for you
- Please include your phone or email address so they can contact you
Please note: This service is not available on the following:
- Current or bound periodicals
- West Virginia Collection materials
- Downtown non-print media Depository items
- Depository requests should be handled through the Callslip/Recall selection on the drop down list.
- Book Express service is not available on Depository loans.
