Privacy Policy
This policy is intended to explain how information collected by the Ask A Librarian IM service will be used. The WVU Libraries respect the privacy of our users. Transcripts of IM reference conversations will be logged and saved for limited periods of time for the use of authorized library personnel to evaluate and improve the service. If used for research or training purposes, all identifying information will be removed from the transcripts.
