Hot Documents: FBI and Library of Congress Sources for African American Studies (FBI files courtesy of the Freedom of information Act)

This site is for WVU students in the Africana Studies Program and all students researching the history and culture of African American people in the United States. The resources here are also valuable to WVU faculty and others conducting research in this area.

Our mission is to provide WVU students with a useful and descriptive guide to researching the WVU Libraries general and unique African American resources, and to promote use of these resources.

This site is part of a project that includes promoting areas of excellence in the WVU Libraries African American collection and identifying and purchasing books that will improve the WVU Libraries support of the curriculum and research in African American studies. If you have suggestions for additions to the African American collection, please contact the bibliographer: Harold Forbes Harold.Forbes@mail.wvu.edu (304) 293 - 3536.
